Product Description

E102A is an EU-style power cord with a 16A, 250V AC model rating and three-conductor cable configurations. The plug outline provides front, rear and side views for reviewing its construction and cable entry.

PVC cable options include H03VV-F and H05VV-F. Rubber cable options include H05RR-F, H05RN-F and H07RN-F. Each designation has its own conductor cross-sections, from the sizes shown in the table; not every listed cross-section applies to every cable family.

Select the cable designation, conductor size, finished length and equipment-end termination as one assembly specification. IEC 60884-1 is the standard reference in the catalogue; it is not a substitute for a model-specific approval document. Confirm the destination-market documentation for the proposed configuration during technical review.

PROJECT SUPPORT

Manufacturing & Customization.

Explore manufacturing capabilities and customization options for your product requirements.

Manufacturing feasibility, inspection requirements and product documentation are reviewed around the needs of each project.

Customization Options

  1. Plug & Market Configuration

Select the plug format and destination-market requirements for the project. Electrical ratings and any applicable approval coverage must be checked against the specific plug-and-cable configuration.

  2. Cable Construction & Length

Specify cable construction, conductor size and finished length. Material choices, dimensional tolerances and achievable configurations are confirmed during technical review.

  3. Equipment-End Connection

Define the equipment-end connector or termination and the required interface. Compatibility depends on cable construction, electrical ratings and the receiving equipment.

  4. Branding & Packaging

Discuss permitted marking, colour and packaging details for the selected configuration. Artwork, labelling, quantities and any additional production requirements are agreed before an order is finalized.

PRODUCT APPLICATION

Applications & Selection Guide

01 / APPLICATIONS

Typical Applications

Power cords are used with electrical appliances and other mains-powered equipment that have a compatible supply interface. Selection depends on the destination market, the equipment's electrical class and the operating environment. The plug format and equipment-end connection must suit the actual installation; a similar-looking cord is not necessarily a suitable replacement.

02 / SELECTION

Selection & Compatibility

Match the cable type, conductor size, finished length and equipment-end connector to the equipment's supply and mechanical needs. For fused-plug versions, select the fuse for the complete cord assembly and intended load. Plug, cable and connector ratings must be considered together, including cable retention and any applicable temperature or handling limits.

Frequently Asked Questions.

E102A is listed as 16A at 250V AC with three-conductor constructions. The plug rating does not make every listed cable cross-section suitable for the same load. Select cable type, size and intended equipment as a complete assembly specification, and establish the applicable destination-market documentation for that configuration before ordering.

The listed PVC options are H03VV-F and H05VV-F; rubber-cable options include H05RR-F, H05RN-F and H07RN-F. Each family has its own listed conductor sizes, so cross-sections should not be transferred between cable families without checking the configuration. Specify the equipment-end connector or termination and finished length separately; a particular connector is not implied by the plug model.

Start with the listed cable designation and three-conductor construction, then specify finished length, equipment-end termination and any marking or packaging needs. Changes must remain suitable for the selected assembly. Availability and tooling implications depend on the proposed construction; a variation is established only once its technical details and supporting documents have been agreed.

IEC 60884-1 appears as a standard reference in the product specification. It is not, by itself, an approval document for every destination market or cable configuration. The page provides an E102A outline drawing, while project-specific conformity evidence should identify the actual assembly being purchased. Include the required document scope with your enquiry.

Identify E102A, the destination market, cable designation, conductor cross-section and finished length, together with the required equipment-end interface and estimated order quantity. Add any colour, marking or packaging preferences. If the cord must fit a particular appliance or enclosure, provide the relevant drawing and acceptance criteria so the proposed assembly can be specified accurately.
